Here we go again: I’m bidding on another house. This time in Independence, MO. It’s only 15 minutes from downtown KCMO & it’s cute as hell! Also 2 blocks away from a quaint “downtown” … which includes a vintage movie theater, a Ben Franklin Five & Dime, and many other little shops. The only downside is living a block away from railroad tracks which are very active with freight trains. Reminds me of one of my old apartments in Lonk Island, with Ms Dorothy, Ellyn, and Cande—minus the house shaking.

The house has been on the market for 38 days, including a 10K price drop, and no other offers. Hopefully this one sticks & me & the kitties have a new home before the end of May. It’s been updated & ready for me & the fur balls to move in. I’d just need to buy a stove, and washer & dryer … otherwise it’s pretty awesome. Oh … did I mention the area is much safer???? Bonus points!!!!

Bonus Bonus Points: We are under contract again with the NJ house. Hopefully both properties sail through with no problems!
