Sometimes good things do come to those who wait. In my case it’s true. A few months ago I was invited by the Asbury Park Musical Heritage Foundation to show the collection of bands I photographed on the stage of the historic Fast Lane in Asbury Park, NJ. Color me honored!
The show will include my photographs of Billy Idol, Mink DeVille, Carolyne Mas, Ronnie Spector, The A’s, John Eddie And The Front Street Runners, and Junior Smoots And The Disturbers. All of these shows were photographed at the Fast Lane in the early 1980s. There will be nearly forty 11 x 14 color prints, matted, framed and displayed.
I hope to see you all at the opening reception on November 16th at 6:00 PM at the Asbury Park Musical Heritage Foundation—Where Music Lives storefront at 708 Cookman Ave. The regular gallery hours are Friday: 12PM-8PM, Saturday: 12PM-7PM, and Sunday: 12PM-6PM.
All photographs on display will also be for sale at the gallery or from me directly.
