Englewood : My New Hood

Also took a little ride through “downtown” Independence. I have never seen so many churches—of all denomionations—in all my life! OMG! Literally!

Of course the biggest, tallest, best designed temple was a Mormon one. The spiral spire was breathtaking. Guess the Mormons in the area got some $$$ & clout. Kind of like back home in Ocean Grove, NJ. But this was even bigger! Yowzer!

I did a block by block survey of the streets to see what shops & businesses there were. There is also a very big indoor farmers market in downtown INMO. Wow! Will need to check it out. Of course pretty much EVERY store was closed on Sunday. Hmmm … wonder why? 😝

Will have to do further investigating Monday-Saturday and see how things are.
